5 steps
~10 min read
1
Choose Your Group Type
Decide what kind of group you want to lead: men's group, women's group,
OCIA/RCIA, or Bible study. Each type has different resources and templates
available.
2
Complete the Group Wizard
Click "Start a Group" and follow the 5-step wizard. You'll name your group,
write a description, set meeting preferences, configure privacy, and review
before launching.
3
Set Up Your First Meeting
Schedule your first meeting right away. Having a concrete date helps potential
members commit. Choose a location that's comfortable and accessible.
4
Invite Your First Members
Start with people you know who might be interested. Personal invitations work
best. Aim for 4-6 people for your first meeting—you can grow from there.
5
Prepare for Your First Meeting
Use the Leader Resources to find an agenda template. Keep your first meeting
simple: introductions, sharing expectations, and setting group norms.
You're all set!
Follow these steps and you'll be on your way.
